TheListTV.com, a national Emmy Award-winning show “where pop culture takes a need-to-know twist,” released a story and video this week that lists Buffalo’s Elmwood Village Farmers Market among the top five farmers’ markets in the country!

Produced by Brian Corsetti, the story also includes markets in San Diego, Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Boulder.

“Considered by many to be the best in Western New York, all their vendors grow or produce what they sell themselves. No middlemen are involved,” Corsetti wrote about the local market. The video, titled “5 Legendary Farmers Markets Across America,” leads off with the Elmwood Village Farmers Market and can be found at www.thelisttv.com/the-list/5-legendary-farmers-markets-across-america.

A program of the Elmwood Village Association, the popular outdoor market will return to its outdoor location at the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Bidwell Parkway in Buffalo’s historic Elmwood Village on Saturday, May 7. Featuring approximately 40 vendors, the market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine, every Saturday through Nov. 26. Along with the freshest local products and produce, the market also features local entertainment, community groups hosting informational tables, an enhanced EBT program and much more.
