Winter Farm

Winter Farms, owned by Dave Winter, is located in Orchard Park, New York. Winter Farms was first started by Dave Winter’s grandfather in Eden, New York, in the early 1900s. Dave’s father took over the farm in the early 1950s, at which time he moved the farm to its current location in Orchard Park; Dave took over in 1996.

Dave Winter has been serving the Buffalo community with fresh produce at the Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market since its inception in 2000. Winter Farms specializes in fruits, vegetables and herbs.

Fruits and Vegetables

During the summer season, Winter Farms delivers a variety of fresh, delicious fruits and vegetables to the Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market. The farm’s assortment of fresh fruits include: strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, grapes, melons, peaches and apples. Vegetables include: spinach, lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli, beets, onions, sweet corn, tomatoes, Swiss chard, beans, summer and winter squash, carrots and more!

Additional Products

Winter Farms also grows a number of potted and cut herbs for sale at the market, including dill, garlic, parsley, and basil. Winter Farms grows and sells pumpkins, popcorn (4 colors!), fresh cut flowers and even winter wreaths at the market.
