Bozard Farm

Bozard Farm is located in Medina, New York, on Route 104, about a mile and a half east of the Town of Ridgeway. Bruce Bozard bought the farm in 1967. In 1969 Bruce started his roadside farm stand with a card table, some wild blackberries and a few extra potatoes from the garden. The roadside farm table was a success, so Bruce built a roadside farm stand and has been selling his produce there ever since. The farm began on 35 acres, but expanded in recent years when Bruce purchased an additional 43 acres across the road from the original farm. Bozard Farm has been a part of the Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market for six years. Bozard Farm now raises about 25 acres of vegetables. The farm’s main crop is sweet corn, which accounts for about 10-12 acres of the farm. Bozard Farm also raises quite a few cole crops, which include cabbage, broccoli, brussels sprouts and cauliflower. Bruce Bozard raises 3-4 acres of potatoes, along with onions, summer squash, peppers, tomatoes, and about a half acre of peaches.
