Native Offerings

We are Stewart (Stew to most) and Deb Ritchie, and we farm ecologically with our three children. Our cooperative farming model, reconnects the community with its food source, the local farmer. Native Offerings Farm is located ten miles west of Ellicottville, New York, where we grow vegetables and herbs and raise beef and pork on some of the best land in Cattaraugus County. Native Offerings was the first Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) in Erie County, and many of our shareholders have been with us since we started in 1997. Providing an alternative to agribusiness, consumers (shareholders and market patrons) know exactly where and how their food is grown. By supporting us you not only get incredibly fresh and great tasting vegetables full of nutrients and vitality, but a food source you can trust.

Native Offerings Farm is Certified Naturally Grown; a certification program only available to farmers that support and supply local markets and have demonstrated a history of environmentally sound farming practices. We use the publicly available USDA National Organic Standards as the basis of our growing practices. Standards prohibit the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and fertilizers.
