Local community groups to host informational tables at Elmwood Village Farmers Market

The popular Elmwood Village Farmers Market returns to the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Bidwell Parkway in Buffalo’s historic Elmwood Village for its 20th season on Saturday, May 12, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The outdoor market will take place every Saturday, rain or shine, through Nov. 24.

Each week, four different community groups will host an informational table at the market. The following groups are on the schedule for the 2018 season:

May 12: Buffalo Scholastic Rowing Association, Master Gardeners, The Olear Team/MJ Peterson, WNY Library Resource Council’s Committee on Health Information Access

May 19: Veterans One-Stop Center of WNY, Explore Buffalo, Magic’s Mission Beagle and Hound Rescue Inc., Native American Community Services

May 26: Friends of the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter, United Healthcare, D’Youville College School of Pharmacy, PUSH Green

June 2: Fidelis Care, The Olear Team/MJ Peterson, Buffalo Commons Charter School, Native American Community Services

June 9: Buffalo Scholastic Rowing Association, Diamonds in the Ruff Animal Rescue, Lexington Co-op, Friends of the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter

June 16: Sierra Club Niagara, West Side & Black Rock-Riverside NHS, Kidbiz, Massage & Mindful Health

June 23: United Healthcare, Explore Buffalo, University Heights Tool Library, Erie County Department of Social Services Foster Parenting

June 30: Friends of the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter, Explore Buffalo, D’Youville College School of Pharmacy, WNY Library Resource Council’s Committee on Health Information Access
